I am building a rock buggy....using Bend Tech for design and love that. I have a similar bender, but found I was hesitant if I was close to the bend angle I was shooting for and did not want to go past which is usually a total fail. I saw another guy do this on another channel, but turned it up vertically, lost the degree wheel and use a digital angle cube......so much easier with much less of over bend potential. I found spring back on .188 wall DOM is not always consistent. Just my 2 cents. Love your channel!

They havent thought of everything though, you cant use cellulose even though it should having 90v open circuit voltage, unlike their cheaper machines (transpocket). You have to change liner for flux core, only one gas pipe is included as standard, consumables not supplied either, its a real pain buying one of these machines, expect to pay another half grand on accessories and significant time communicating with the supplier on essentials to get you started.

What about steel touching aluminum and electrolysis or galvonic corrosion? In construction we separate with shims, tape, caulking, anything to have a space between the two so they dont have a reaction between the two different metals. Just a stupid thought when I saw the bearing in the aluminum

I am thinking of putting house wrap on the steel before i put the metal panels...then spray the foam on that...that waybif a panel needs to be changed out its not stuck to the foam

Are you buying a new gasket with bigger holes and porting to increase the airflow or is a stock gasket holes typically bigger?

One trick I do is order color heat shrink and put it on the wire over the terminal so I Don't get them mixed up.

Just a tip, you can stand on the scale while holding each part and subtract your body weight. Seems a bit more accurate than trying to balance it on the scale just my experience 🤙🏻

The majority of YT 8.8 narrowing videos show someone cutting the tubes, which is the cheap (as opposed to inexpensive) way to do this. As Kyle said the point is not just to narrow the housing but to get rid of the c-clips and add larger bearings at the ends. You're likely going to buy axles anyway so spend the extra time and money to do it right.

Two things here work are dirt dont hurt but try putinng your sheet metal on the center of the tubes you will save time and wtg

Hey, so I paid to have this done. Here is the thing, I changed out my rear studs last week and my axles basically came right out. Just unbolted the bracket to the caliper. Is that the only thing holding the axle in, it was this done wrong? I would really appreciate the answer. My life is dependent on it. I liked and subscribed. Thanks
